Support Us
Extraordinary live music experiences can be out of reach for many. St George’s Bristol exists to change this.
We believe the joy and inspiration that live music brings should be available to everyone; we want everything we do to reflect this.
Will you join us in our mission by becoming a supporter today?
Be part of an artistic community that, every year, reaches out to more than 20,000 people across the South West, showcases exceptional live music to more than 120,000 people, enhances the careers of hundreds of artists, and inspires 4,000 children and young people through close-up musical experiences.
Through projects like the St George’s Community Ticket Club, the Cosmos young peoples’ choir, Sing for Happiness, and Artists in Schools, we are creating unforgettable experiences by bringing together exceptional artists with local communities.
Music is an important part of being human. We think that people were singing before they could even speak. It’s part of who we are—it’s deep within us. And yet in our society and culture today, it’s not even, it’s not spread across society who gets to enjoy music, to make music, to have that as part of their experience of life. And that is what St George’s are trying to change in Bristol with all of its amazing outreach with its choirs, with Sing for Happiness, with MiniBeats—it’s all about opening up music to people who haven’t got that access to it.

Education
Your support will provide inspiring music education opportunities for children in culturally under-served areas of Bristol
Community Tickets
Your support helps us reduce the cost of concert tickets for those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience live music.
Building
Your donation will directly support the upkeep of our beautiful Grade II* listed venue. Help us look after our historic building, to ensure the future of everything we do at St George’s.
Your support means we can continue creating unforgettable musical experiences, for everyone.
It means we can continue keeping our base ticket price at just £10, wherever possible – we want to make sure there’s an affordable seat for anyone who wants to enjoy exceptional live music in Bristol.
This year we’ve issued over 1,000 free tickets to older people in Bristol’s communities who are experiencing loneliness: your support means we can continue.
It also plays a vital part in helping maintain our beautiful Grade II* listed building, gardens and contemporary spaces – we need to ensure our future as a unique sanctuary at the heart of the city.

Community Ticket Club
In October 2022, we launched this initiative to support the wellbeing of older people in communities across Bristol. Since then, we’ve welcomed over hundreds of older people to powerful and inspirational weekly concerts by some of the brightest young classical musicians performing in the UK today.
