Rising Stars
Nurture the musical stars of tomorrow
This winter, support the Rising Stars campaign, to help young, talented South West musicians thrive in 2024 and beyond.
Your gift will help support the rising musical stars of tomorrow, giving them the chance to perform on our stage in our world-class acoustic, as well as broadcast and recording opportunities which will open their work up to audiences across the UK. Our famous Lunchtime Concert series is programmed to feature these Rising Stars, and your gift enables us to continue providing vital performance opportunities like these.
We’re aiming to raise £15,000, and we would love your help to reach this!
Donate to Rising Stars
Your support helps to provide performance and career opportunities to talented young musicians across the South West.
Why support the Rising Stars campaign?
Thanks to last year’s Rising Stars campaign and it supporters, we have:
Given emerging local musicians concert opportunities on our main stage and in our Glass Studio space – such as brilliant Bristol-based electronic artist Kayla Painter.
Celebrated the best in UK talent through our Lunchtime Concert series, working with the BBC to present musicians from their New Generation Artists scheme.
We brought 30 young saxophonists in for a pre-concert workshop with renowned saxophonist Jess Gillam.
These are just a few examples of the work made possible by Rising Stars donations to date, and we want to do much more in 2024.
The last few years have been tough for emerging musicians, especially those who rely on the support of local venues and audiences. Please help us to give these talented and passionate musicians a platform to develop and become stars of the future.
