The auditorium seats 580 people and its exquisite acoustic makes it a perfect host for all manner of events, including concerts across many genres such as classical, jazz, folk, contemporary – and spoken word and talks.

Regardless of the style, artists return again and again for the intimate and luxurious atmosphere St George’s exudes. We have been host to the Bristol / South West leg of many incredible tours, and are the long-running performance ‘home’ of numerous fantastic local ensembles who return each season.

And if you are looking for a smaller, more intimate space, we have the Glass Studio in our stunning new pavilion-style extension. The Glass Studio is a flexible space so can seat up to 80 people, or have a standing capacity of 160.
