Apollo Sessions

We’re delighted to welcome back our Apollo Sessions featuring the University of Bristol music department. Join us as the for a 60min showcase with the best of their classical music students who will be performing a range of works from Clara Schumann, to Brahms, to Borodin and Hayden, all from underneath our Luke Jerram Apollo Sculpture.

Formed by students of the University of Bristol and established in October 2018, The Speranza Quintet is a high-caliber wind ensemble that has featured in some of Bristol’s most prestigious venues and events. The quintet is delighted to make a return to St George’s after a 2-year hiatus to perform some classics from the repertoire, including the Taffanel and Nielsen quintets.
