Bristol-based bassist and singer songwriter Stevie Toddler creates utterly unique soundworlds and in this special Listening Room session she’ll be performing and talking about new material created with her band.
Having originally studied classical double bass, Stevie’s music draws from a whole range of genres and artists – Pixies, St Vincent and Radiohead jump to mind – and at the heart of her tunes is an alt-pop sensibility.
This is an informal performance plus a conversation with Australian songstress, Nuala Honan, about Stevie and the bands creative process.
