Renowned for their performances of classical and contemporary works, the Quartet has received numerous awards, including the “Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes 2023,” first prizes in the Competition el Primer Palau 2022 and Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition 2021, among others.

Currently the ensemble is continuing its musical training at the Hochschule für Musik FHNW in Basel, under the advice of Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Silvia Simionescu (Gringolts Quartet), Claudio Martínez Mehner, Anton Kernjak and Anna Gebert.

“The Atenea Quartet’s impressive performance of their program was persuasive and inspiring. I am very much looking forward to their Debut concert at our Summer Festival…Like numerous previous winners of the ‘Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes’, these musicians fulfill all of the prerequisites necessary for an international career and have a promising future ahead of them.”
