The supremely gifted, prize-winning Fibonacci Quartet, comprising Czech, Belgian, Welsh and Montenegrin nationalities, have rapidly established themselves as one of the most exciting young quartets in the UK today.
The Fibonacci Quartet was founded in 2019 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. It is an international ensemble, bringing together Czech, Belgian, Welsh and Montenegrin nationalities. The quartet started working under the tutelage of Krysia Osostowicz (leader of the Brodsky Quartet) and is currently coached and mentored by Ursula Smith.
In addition to their studies in London, they were accepted to the Dutch String Quartet Academy (NSKA) and ProQuartet masterclasses in Paris, and at the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid, part of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with Günter Pichler.
