Helena Ricci is an award-winning Swiss trailblazing harpist based in London. Known for her mesmerising concerts and ground-breaking communication with the audience, Helena is equally praised for ‘her own creative world, innovative and multifaceted musical language’ (Sioned Williams, Principal Harpist, BBC Symphony Orchestra (1990-2018).
She is an ambassador for the harp as a solo instrument, pioneering new transcriptions and innovative programming. An alumna of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Helena is a current City Music Foundation Artist and Stoller Hall Emerging Artist, a recent past Hattori Foundation Senior Awardee. Solo work and appearances include the Royal Opera House, being the soloist in Ravel’s Introduction & Allegro at the Wigmore Hall, appearing solo in a London Symphony Orchestra Productions live-streamed concert and playing for His Majesty The King.
