Music icon Neneh Cherry discusses her very eagerly anticipated new memoir, A Thousand Threads.

Cherry is a true original whose legacy bridges four decades of incredible genre-defying music. She has had a deep connection to the cultural life of Bristol, from her involvement in post-punk bands like Rip Rig + Panic to working closely with Massive Attack. Her hit singles and albums – including Buffalo Stance, Manchild, 7 Seconds – and serial collaborations with the likes of Four Tet, Robyn, Cher, Michael Stipe, Geoff Barrow, Tricky, Anohni and countless others, signify an artist of profound creative energy and reinvention. This is a chance to hear her as-yet-untold personal story. She will be in conversation with author and music journalist Jude Rogers.

Book and ticket option available for £25, saving £14 on book (rrp £25). Collect on the night.
