They said it couldn’t be done – “Live improv comedy mixed with board games? Are you mad?” – Yes, it turns out they are! No Rolls Barred is one of the biggest tabletop channels on YouTube – a bunch of friends and comedians (and Laurie) playing board games to show you just ‘how much fun board gaming can be!’
You might know them from the Soviet silliness of ‘Monopoly but Communist’, the paranoia of their huge in-person Blood on the Clocktower episodes, or screaming at each other in their regular Board Game Club series.
Join host Laurie Blake alongside Sullivan Brown (Grubby Little Mitts), Dominic Allen (The Apocalypse Players), Tilly Steele (Baldur’s Gate 3, Dr Who) – with more amazing special guest comedians to be announced.
With larger-than-life recreations of their favourite games, you can be up close and personal with each roll of the dice, deal of the cards and, inevitably, the ragequits and flips of the table. You can even grab a VIP ticket and meet the gang before the show!

Enjoy delicious drinks and light bites from our Café Bar ahead of the event.
Available to pre-order when booking your tickets, you can choose from a selection of house drinks on arrival, accompanied by a board of bread, olives and dips (all Vegetarian). Just select which option – for one or two people – you would like, before checkout. Or if you’ve already booked, please email boxoffice@stgeorgesbristol.co.uk to add your food to your order.
Your pre-ordered food and drink will be available to collect from the Café Bar from 90 minutes before the event. It’s the perfect way to begin your event experience at St George’s!
