A double bill of two wonderfully inventive trios who carve out their own distinctively evocative, instantly lovable soundscapes.
Firelight Trio – a new group featuring Moishe’s Bagel accordionist Phil Alexander, renowned Scottish fiddle player Gavin Marwick, and Ruth Morris on the beautiful Swedish Nyckelharpa – take to the stage first playing a rich tapestry of European inspired music: lively Swedish polskas, Scottish reels, lilting French waltzes, toe-tapping klezmer, and dazzling original tunes. The band will be performing material from their acclaimed debut album Midnight Followed.
‘Top-calibre trio with grace, energy and playfulness’ – Folk Radio UK
