St George’s is located in the centre of Bristol, a 10 minute walk from the harbour
Just off Park Street, we are half way down the hill from Clifton Triangle, or up the hill from College Green.
Approach us either via Great George Street for the Box Office entrance, or via Charlotte Street for step-free access.
Our beautiful building is a former 19th Century church (we’re 200 years young soon) to the side of Brandon Hill, a picturesque and historic park with Cabot Tower at its centre. Park Street, Queens Road, Berkeley Square and Clifton Triangle offer a thriving and eclectic mix of fashion, shops, cafes and restaurants near to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, and the Royal West of England Academy. Everything you need for a little cultural adventure.

Travel
Bus
We are close to stops for several local bus routes, with the nearest bus stops being on College Green (bottom of Park Street) and Clifton Triangle (top of Park Street). Please check the First Bus website for the latest timetables.
Bristol Bus & Coach Station is 0.7 miles away (approximately 15-20 minutes’ walk away), on Cannon Street.
Cycling
There are bicycle racks in front of our Great George Street entrance. There are also bicycle racks at the bottom of Park Street.
There are plenty of cycle lanes on main roads in Bristol (including Park Row).

Train
Our nearest main train station is Bristol Temple Meads, approximately 1.2 miles away. This is approximately a half-hour walk.
Our nearest local train station is Clifton Down, approximately 1 mile away. This is approximately a 25 minute walk.
There are plenty of public transport links between both stations and St George’s Bristol including buses and taxis.
Car
There is metered on-street parking on Great George Street and Charlotte Street. The nearest car parks are on Trenchard Street, College Street, and Millennium Square.

Taxi
There are taxi ranks located on Clifton Triangle and College Green. Bristol is also served by several independent taxi companies and national taxi apps.
You will need to tell your taxi driver whether you would like to be dropped off at our Great George Steet or our Charlotte Street (step-free) entrance.
National & International Transport Links
You can make national and cross-country train journeys from Bristol Temple Meads station.
Bristol International Airport is approximately 9 miles away (roughly 20 minutes’ drive, or an hour by public transport). There are regular shuttle buses between the Airport and various stops in Bristol city centre.
Bristol Bus & Coach Station on Cannon Street is served by several national coach companies including National Express. Coach companies including Megabus have stops in the city centre.
